SUBURB exhibition curated by Aðalheiðus Valgeirsdóttir & Aldís Arnardóttir, part of THE WHEEL, exhibition series initiated by Reykjavík Association of Sculptures in public space.
The collection consisted of sculptures and a performance. One sculpture was placed in the park area of a suburban shopping centre for The Wheel, and another on a traffic island for Plan B Festival. Both artworks were in places where people would not normally expect to see art. As part of the project, there was an interactive performance with sculptures that represented a monument of the Selflove Virus. The visitors were invited individually to sign a contract, promising to always love themselves.
